Hello, blog. I finished editing my film today. I thought carefully about Julian's recommendations. I created some of my own designs as well. I'm glad I won't need to reshoot any parts. I doubt that I could muster the necessary time or energy. With CapCut, all of the changes are possible, and the process wasn't too tough. I started by making changes to the initial scenes' photo quality and filter. The gym was the setting for the opening scenes. The lighting was quite strong and chilly. Additionally, the image was crystal clear and appeared to be a standard video. This in and of itself isn't always a problem. I wanted for these scenes and what came next to contrast with one. in the motion film. The problem was that there was too much contrast. I therefore changed the exposure to make it appear dimmer. I retained the clear quality since I wanted to preserve the contrast. I then tried to adjust the music's volume during the monster scenes. I swapped the clip wit

Hey blog. Today me and lance had our friend Julian review our film. I hoped he didn’t say our intro was bad. I put a lot of effort into this film and of course I'm open to criticism but I hoped he wouldn’t have much bad things to say . i was surprised and thankful he was greatly impressed with our film. He really liked the camera work and visuals. He said the the picture getting gradually grainier was a nice touch. However he noted that it could have been done smoother. The very beginning scenes were crystal clear in cold lighting. The picture looked too clean and the transition from that to the warmly lit, grainier picture of the later scenes. The contrast was too hard and I could have made these 2 visuals blend more seamlessly. He was also impressed with the use of different camera angles in my shots. he really appreciated the use of both dutch angles and wide shots. He did note that the music was distracting in some scenes where it would have benefited to be quieter and allow th

Hey blog welcome back. The plans of the editing process have changed. Me and lance talked about it we both wanna use CapCut. With the we will just work together. We have started trying to incorporate the back ground music. We also have included some audio from talking. So we will have some dialogue in our film. We had to to combine our skills. We had to add some more clips.that  we have filmed this weekend we add in the songs where it was needed most. Where it creates a more suspensive film part for us. I am so happy how this is coming out. The video is long now maybe to long. We are going to have to cut some off the video. I will make Lance lower it down tho I am not going to do it he is better with the editing portion. It only makes sense for him to to it so we can do better. We need to make sure it alligned  with our pitch. I’m so glad we’re doing a horror type film. This made it so much easier for us as a group. But thank you blog.

Hey blog. Lance and me have chosen the sound I will be using for the film. The song is the Tiptoe Through the Tulips cover by Tiny Tim. I chose this song because I find it as  unsettling and creates suspense. It's an old song published in the year 1929 sang famously by Nick Lucas. The original was a calming song, this is in heavy contrast with the cover by Tiny Tim. The instruments are slower and and the vocals are distorted. It's not a necessarily scary song but its deeply unnerving. Making this song perfect for our film. I was lucky enough to find that this song because Lance heard it in a commercial. We are able to use it on CapCut without seeking permission. The process of transferring this sound to CapCut was really simple. I simply had to search for the sound on TikTok. I've seen plenty of videos using this sound on TikTok so all I needed to do was search the lyric. I found the sound and chose a video without any excess audio from a creator.  Next I open CapCut and

Hey blog. Hi guys as I stated on my past blog we forgot to film some parts. we were able to meet up earlier today . i had to take a Uber to meet up with him. We started refiling at the gym. We had got into a altercation while filming there was this guy bothering us while we filmed in the gym. When we were lifting I remembered we didn't start the video. so we had to redo the exercises we had did and gather the clips. when we were walking home from the gym we recorded us walking. I had got hungry so we got some MacDonald's. while we were walking from the MacDonald's to his house it became very dark so we filmed us walking in the dark. when we finally got to his house we went right into filming. We had to film in his rooms and living room. As we were filming i thought we should include some props to make it more realistic. I put on my headphones so you would tell i couldn't hear. While i told him to put on a white shirt so you ca tell he got attacked   by the monster in th

Hey blog it’s me. Me and my partner in this filming project met up today. We had some trouble to get there. I got there at 12 in the morning and lance did not get there till 4 pm. We gathered more clips at the gym and his house. Today we started editing the clips. We needed to shorten some of those clips. We need to  put them in certain spaces in the time frame to add like a buildup in the scary ness. When i was editing I realized we should use CapCut . Lance wanted to use I movie . I have used CapCut in the past to make films for this class. So we decided we would both make our video and see who’s looks better in the end. It’s just a friendly competition. We have different ideas which isn’t bad we both just want to get the best product for this film. With this editing part  I don’t know if we should gather some more scary night time clips. If my curfew was later we could gather some at midnight. We had to edit how the sound clips we were gunna use. Also what audio in person we were

hey, blog I'm back once again. I went on lances bus today after school. I had to sneak on the bus because that is not my bus. surprisingly she didn't tell me anything. The reason I snuck on his bus was so i could go to his house and start filming. we were setting up the camera in his living room and we started to film. Right when we were filming his little sister came and moved the camera which made us have to re shoot the video. It was nice going to his house because his mom is very nice, she had food for us while we were recording our video. after we finished the scene in the living room, we had eaten the food she made for us. After we ate, we set the camera in the laundry room hallway so that way we can get that long hallway look so it can create suspense. We had to improvise because we had to do some tracking shots so I had to make sure I wasn't shaking the camera so it can be clear. Once we revised that footage it turns out I was shaking the camera a lot. While shakin

hey guys welcome back . Me and lance have been planning on how we are going to be filming this movie intro. We have been coming up with a schedule to meet up. we have been creating plans to meet up to film. I’ve been storming up ideas for how I’m start the production and for the things I want to include in my movie intro . I really like going to the gym so does lance so finding what I want to put in our movie is easy and interesting for me. So I went to my friends gym yesterday so we can start filming some videos. The thing is we have to try to make people interested and want to start working out and do body building. So that means we have to include stuff to catch their attention. We got hungry and we were at the beach and we went to the 711.  Then we started playing sports on the sand we mainly played volleyball. Playing any sport if good because it kelps you active and is a form of exercise. Then when we were filming it started to rain really hard and we couldn’t film on the beach
