final re shoot

Hey blog. A lot has happened in these past few days. I had been attempting to export the film from Cap Cut in order to submit it and possibly do any quick last-minute adjustments. I had been attempting to export the film but lance had kept getting the notification that I had to download Cap Cut Pro in order to do this. I was so confused I have never had to deal with this before. we looked at YouTube videos and various forums online trying to figure it out. Then eventually I decided I had to re-shoot the entire film. I couldn't re-use any old footage because I had permanently deleted them from my phone in order to make space in my storage for the final product. lance called me and we made a plan to meet up and re-shoot the entire film. We planned to meet on Saturday. We'd both be free, and we had planned a group gathering a few days before so it would be convenient to meet then. We'd just split from the group later on at the end. My grandpa would take Kevin home and before

re shoot

Hello, blog. Lance and I were finally able to come up with a plan, meet, and reshoot the movie. Kevin and I came up with a new plan a few days ago. We were going to film the movie in his house this time. All we had to do was find a ride. Fortunately, I had no trouble riding his bus. After we arrived, problems did start to arise. This was the first time that the time had changed since we were filming the original footage so long ago. We had an additional hour now. This indicated that the sun would remain brilliant until 7:00. This was a serious problem. Given how long it would take to collect all of the footage, I couldn't stay out that late. it would require an excessive amount of time. Every scene was recorded at night. Every room in Kevin's house has large, open windows. It didn't seem feasible. I felt like giving up. Not even blinds existed for his windows. But we simply couldn't afford to hold off any more. Thus, we recorded every scene. The arrangement of the hous

Hello, blog. I finished editing my film today. I thought carefully about Julian's recommendations. I created some of my own designs as well. I'm glad I won't need to reshoot any parts. I doubt that I could muster the necessary time or energy. With CapCut, all of the changes are possible, and the process wasn't too tough. I started by making changes to the initial scenes' photo quality and filter. The gym was the setting for the opening scenes. The lighting was quite strong and chilly. Additionally, the image was crystal clear and appeared to be a standard video. This in and of itself isn't always a problem. I wanted for these scenes and what came next to contrast with one. in the motion film. The problem was that there was too much contrast. I therefore changed the exposure to make it appear dimmer. I retained the clear quality since I wanted to preserve the contrast. I then tried to adjust the music's volume during the monster scenes. I swapped the clip wit

Hey blog. Today me and lance had our friend Julian review our film. I hoped he didn’t say our intro was bad. I put a lot of effort into this film and of course I'm open to criticism but I hoped he wouldn’t have much bad things to say . i was surprised and thankful he was greatly impressed with our film. He really liked the camera work and visuals. He said the the picture getting gradually grainier was a nice touch. However he noted that it could have been done smoother. The very beginning scenes were crystal clear in cold lighting. The picture looked too clean and the transition from that to the warmly lit, grainier picture of the later scenes. The contrast was too hard and I could have made these 2 visuals blend more seamlessly. He was also impressed with the use of different camera angles in my shots. he really appreciated the use of both dutch angles and wide shots. He did note that the music was distracting in some scenes where it would have benefited to be quieter and allow th

Hey blog welcome back. The plans of the editing process have changed. Me and lance talked about it we both wanna use CapCut. With the we will just work together. We have started trying to incorporate the back ground music. We also have included some audio from talking. So we will have some dialogue in our film. We had to to combine our skills. We had to add some more clips.that  we have filmed this weekend we add in the songs where it was needed most. Where it creates a more suspensive film part for us. I am so happy how this is coming out. The video is long now maybe to long. We are going to have to cut some off the video. I will make Lance lower it down tho I am not going to do it he is better with the editing portion. It only makes sense for him to to it so we can do better. We need to make sure it alligned  with our pitch. I’m so glad we’re doing a horror type film. This made it so much easier for us as a group. But thank you blog.
